You know it the moment you see it.

The same is true for websites and portals. If a site looks credible and professional, people tend to stay and browse. If not, according to a recent survey, they are gone in 1 to 3 seconds. Knowing this, we re-design sites and, if needed, provide New Site Construction.

Our goal is to transfer the desired Marketing persona via the Internet. Working with client marketing staff, senior management and -at times- internal IT, we craft the desired look and feel of the site. WaveTwo uses a successful 6-step process to ensure quick and professional outcome.

6 Key Steps to a Credible and Professional Image

  1. Determine Site Look and Feel; Create Site Organization, Features and Functions. Clients typically review 10 to 15 competitor sites to gain a perspective on Site Look and Feel. We then prioritize the top 3 or 4 and list features and functions desired. Additional and custom features and functions are then added for the desired site. However, in all cases, with the final site look and feel is the client's decision.
  2. Gather Articles, Photos, Graphics, Proposals, Reports and Project Deliverables. This step consists of collecting as much material, as possible, for the site. More is better in this step. Once gathered, it will be organized for professional content and visibility.
  3. Create Site Map. A site map is akin to a table of contents, only it’s more important. Search Engines, when indexing a site, first go the Site Map to peruse the site. If it is not there, the indexing is cut short and the site becomes far less visible. We will create a Site Map for the client in order for it to be indexed by search engines.
  4. Draft Section Contents (unoptimized). Professional Copy writing is performed in this step. WaveTwo will review drafts from the client regularly until all sections are written, proofed and double checked for accuracy. This is the heart of the site creation and will be a critical step in the Site’s desired credible image. Note: If the Site is to be Optimized, this step is explained and merged with Phase 2 SEO.
  5. Test Site and Perform Quality Assurance. Before submitting the site, it will be tested by WaveTwo and the client for several days. This testing is similar to all system and application system tests before releasing to users and the public.
  6. Submit to Engines and Directories. We hand submit site submissions to the key search and expert directory engines. Each engine has its own rules and requirements, which change frequently. We understand the current needs of the engines and ensure that no delays occur as a result of a poor or incomplete submission.
