Press Release
May 04, 2010
May 4, 2010 - Irving, TX - For hospital executives and physician practice leaders staying abreast of continuing changes with HITECH within the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
Effective April 21, 2010 WaveTwo, LLC announced the launch of their new healthcare IT consulting division: Health IT 2015. The in-depth consulting division assists leading healthcare professionals and systems in obtaining "Meaningful Use" of Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMR), and optimizing all supporting healthcare technology and processes.
The evolution of Health IT 2015 into a separate consulting division was based on a steady 8-year success of WaveTwo in providing technology solutions for Hospitals, Physician Groups and Dental Groups. "Creating performance management systems, real-time provider intelligence, while also providing daily hands-on management of provider- wide technology has prepared us for this step" said John Arnott Sr, Managing Partner. "Now, with our current knowledge of new ARRA and HITECH requirements, a dedicated healthcare division is in the best interest of our healthcare clients".
To this end, the new division launched a corresponding website, www.HealthIT2015.com. On the site, health professionals can learn and get the latest news as healthcare reform unfolds. Topics include:
- Certified paths to "Meaningful Use"
- Objective analysis of EMR alternatives
- Simple steps to obtaining ARRA stimulus funds for growth
- And a free pathway kit at www.HealthIT2015.com or by calling 877-HIT-2015
John Arnott, Senior Partner and acting CIO to one of the area's leading hospital systems said "Our initial value is in defusing confusion surrounding the CMS interim final rule and sorting out the qualifications of EMR vendors. From there, we are now well positioned to help our healthcare clients succeed in this new world of technology and reform."
