Irving Chamber presents awards at dinner at Four Seasons
Press Release
May 05, 2011
Council member Roy Santoscoy said he was Joe Philipp. School board member Nancy Jones said she was Rhonda Huffstetler. The Irving Fire Chief was honest, though, when he answered "Mario Molina" when asked his name. It was all in good fun as members of Four Day Weekend singled out guests at the Irving Chamber's 2011 Annual Awards Celebration to include in their comedy sketches. Along with clever skits by the troupe, the packed event included the presentation of several awards. Rich Flaherty of HMS served as host and his boss, Bill Lucia of HMS, said a few words as the event's presenting sponsor. The Chairman's Award went to Al Zapanta and the Mustang Legacy Award was given to Paul Fulchino of Aviall. Three students were recognized for their innovative technology ideas. They are Saul Membreno, Elias Baez and Colton Collis (in photo with Robert Martinez, chamber chair, left). For more awards, continue reading after the jump.
